1. Agreement to Terms

By registering for or attending the Bay Area Connections Conference (“the Conference”), you (“Participant”) acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

2. Registration & Payment

Registration is complete only once payment is received.

All fees are listed in USD and must be paid in full.

We reserve the right to cancel your registration for late or incomplete payment.

3. Ticket Transfers & Refunds

For details on refunds and transfers, please refer to our Refund Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

All content at the Conference, whether in-person or online, including sessions, slides, recordings, logos, branding, and speaker presentations, remains the exclusive property of Bay Area Connections Conference or the respective rightsholders.

Participants may not record, reproduce, or distribute any materials without written consent.

5. Code of Conduct & Liability

Participants agree to conduct themselves respectfully and adhere to venue rules.

Bay Area Connections Conference is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss of items during the event, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

6. Event Changes & Cancellation

We may modify the event format, schedule, speakers, or venue without prior notice.

If the event is canceled, your ticket will be handled per the Refund Policy as applicable.

7. Photography & Media

Conference staff may photograph or record sessions. These may be used for marketing or archival purposes.

By attending, you consent to being captured in event media. Contact us if you have concerns.

8. Third-Party Links & Content

Our website or presentations may include links or embedded media from third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Legal Compliance & Governing Law

You agree to comply with all applicable laws in connection with your attendance and use of Conference materials.

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, and any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Mateo County.
